About Ethan and Oliver Adventures
Hey there — I’m Jenn. I’m a Navy officer by calling, a future homeschool mom at heart, and the storyteller behind Ethan & Oliver Adventures.
If you’re here, I bet you believe (like I do) that childhood should be filled with muddy boots, wonder-filled questions, unexpected giggles, and stories that point to the fingerprints of a faithful God. You want your kids to remember more than just facts — you want them to remember moments.
How it all started
After years of serving my country — and missing too many moments, especially with my oldest (adult) daughter, Sydni — I knew I wanted to slow down and do it differently this time. When Aaron and I met later in life, we both knew we wanted kids and we both promised: we’d raise them with intention.
Now, with Ethan and Oliver still small enough to sit on my lap and ask why? a thousand times, I have a second chance to pour in, to travel, to teach them about God’s big, beautiful world — and to share it all with you, too.
What these books really are
These aren’t just travel guides — and they’re not just bedtime stories either.
Each book is a playful blend of real places, real history, silly moments, and faith tucked into every page.
They’re written through the eyes of my boys as I imagine them to be one day — a reflection of the curious, brave, and thoughtful young men I see growing before me now.
These stories are my way of capturing today’s adventures and tomorrow’s wonder all at once.
I like to think of these books as a kids’ blog, told through pages instead of screens — real places, real adventures, and real faith, through the playful lens of my boys and the wonder I see growing in them every day.
