Hi, I’m Jenn—mom of a young adult daughter and two curious little boys, an active duty Naval officer, future-homeschooler, and the author behind Ethan & Oliver’s Great American Road Trip Adventures.

What started as a desire to bring history, faith, and family learning to life turned into a cross-country journey—one story, one state at a time. I wanted my boys to remember more than just facts… I wanted them to experience places, ask questions, get a little muddy, and find God’s fingerprints in every corner of the country.

After missing so many moments during my military years—especially with my oldest, Sydni—I knew I didn’t want to lose that time with the boys. Life moves fast. And in this hustle-harder world, I wanted to slow it down, lean in, and really see them while they’re still little. These road trip adventures are my way of reclaiming that time—just soaking up God’s goodness.

I like to think of the books as a kind of blog through the eyes of Ethan and Oliver—capturing what kids notice, wonder, and remember most. While the boys are still little, the stories reflect how I imagine they’ll see the world one day: with curiosity, joy, and a heart for adventure. Now we’re sharing those stories with y’all, one state at a time.
